Volunteer 

Get involved and volunteer with SADSC. 

Whether you just want to be with your kids, give something back to the community or further a career in Swim Teaching. 

SADSC is a completely volunteer run club and, as such, is dependent on the goodwill of others in order to provide your children's lessons. We believe this approach is a great way of providing your children with a happy, interesting and enjoyable time due to the unique backgrounds of our teachers.

We would always welcome, and indeed actively encourage, any parents to help out with the running of the club. There are two ways of helping:

Teaching - No experience of teaching is necessary as we can provide guidance poolside. At some point we would encourage volunteers to attain their Level 1 teaching qualification and the club would pay for the cost of this in return for a time commitment. If you further wanted, then we could also help with your Level 2 qualification. 

Teaching poolside would be dependent on a clear DBS check.

Poolside Volunteers also get a 20% discount off term fees if they have kids at the club.
Committee Members - All this requires is coming to the pub 6 times a year! 

We hold a committee meeting every two months where we review how the club is doing and make any necessary decisions.  

The more input we get, the better decisions we make so we would really encourage people to be part of this process.
